I am Katja, a pottery artist, creating functional art in the form of ceramics, where practicality meets aesthetic refinement.

Creativity has been a part of my life since childhood, and I deepened my passion through my studies in art education with my BA with focus on painting in 2018. After exploring various artistic techniques, I discovered a profound connection with ceramics and began dedicating myself to this craft in 2021. Through various online and in-person workshops, one of them being The creative school of Ceramics with Magija gline, and hands-on work in my home studio, I am developing a unique style that blends the essence of nature with the art of ceramics.

In my studio, equipped with a pottery wheel and kiln, I create pieces that are more than just functional objects. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation, shaped with love and attention to detail. My inspiration comes from the natural world – the ripples of the sea, the soft colors of the horizon, the gentle sway of grass in the wind, and the warm tones of the earth. This connection with nature is reflected in my work, telling a story of simplicity, beauty, and timelessness.
