Collection: BLOOMING – Handcrafted Ceramics with Illustrations by Manca Illustration

BLOOMING is a gentle intertwining of handcrafted ceramics and illustration. It is the result of a sisterly collaboration, bringing together pottery making and the illustrative work of Manca Kovačič (Manca Illustration).

The first collection is called FLORAL, the blooming of flowers on the ceramic pieces. Each piece is hand-thrown from white stoneware, fired at a high temperature, and adorned with a unique, hand-drawn floral illustration. The floral motifs are delicate, playful, and one of a kind — every line carries the trace of the hand, every surface its own story.

The illustrations emerge from Manca’s exploration of botany, nature, and poetic storytelling. This is subtly reflected throughout the collection, where ceramics and illustration merge into a harmonious expression of a shared love for nature.
